CTU and 2 other FRIENDS universities host the Internationalization @ Home national conference

The two-day event highlighted the theme about equity, diversity and inclusivity of internationalization at home which was spearheaded by the Dean of College of Engineering, CTU, Dr. Ronald Galindo.

Dr. Galindo emphasized the importance of inclusive internationalization from the perspective of the Cebu Technological University. He discussed the efforts made by CTU to engage its students in internationalization projects through collaboration with FRIENDS universities even amidst the pandemic.

He also talked about the internationalization programs offered and created by the university to further adapt international students from around the globe and what projects CTU is conducting to keep its connection with its international students despite the restrictions of face-to-face gatherings in these circumstances.

One of the key projects he made to promote collaborative and innovative learning was the “Flexible, Innovative, Replicable and Mobile (FIRM) bike, which has won the ASEAN Teaching Model Competition as 3rd Best Instructional Design Concept with the use of the internet.
