The research and development of CTU Daanbantayan Campus conducted a technology transfer training on January 20-21, 2022 at CTU Bantayan Extension with the active technology transfer of the Campus Research Director, Dr. Rowena P. Datoon with the cooperation of the Extension Director, Professor Nicholas P. Antigua, with the energetic cooperation of the CTU Bantayan OIC Campus Director, Professor Girlie Fariola.

The two-day event aimed at sharing to the community and the selected beneficiaries’ new food innovation as a result of research activities. The recipients learned novel ideas in preparing local products as they underwent training in food processing specifically in the preparation of scallop and caraballas fish.

This activity hoped to give additional input to the recipients that they can also utilize their day to day business activities that may contribute to improve economic benefits. –Nikkithea L. Beduya /ICPA Daanbantayan
