The College of Management and Entrepreneurship administered a virtual seminar entitled, “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace” on April 25, 2022.
Professor Marlou C. Godinez, University Director for Gender and Development, resource speaker of the webinar, introduced the different types and acts of sexual harassment and also its major characteristics. She also gave emphasis to R.A 7877 also known as the Anti-sexual Harassment Act of 1995 that was primarily enacted to protect and respect the dignity of workers, employees, applicants for employment as well as students in educational institutions or training centers.
The webinar was relevant to the students who are currently in their on-the- job training, internship and practicum.
