CTU hosts virtual caravan with FRIENDS

Around 393 participants from higher education institutions in Visayas and Mindanao joined Virtual FRIENDS Caravan 2022 led by Cebu Technological University (CTU) on April 26th through 28th.

Furthering International Relations Capacities and Intercultural Engagement to Nurture Campus Diversity and Support Internationalisation and Home (FRIENDS) is a project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union that intends to develop students’ global competence and promote intercultural understanding in education system.

The three-day campaign featured guest speakers from CTU and ERASMUS + FRIENDS staff from the University of Cebu who introduced the ERAMUS+FRIENDS project, intercultural passport, and special lectures on “Building up your Global Competency towards becoming a Global Citizen” and “Global Competence Awareness: Career Opportunities and Self-Development”.

Participants from , Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST), Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), and Cebu Normal University (CNU) took part in the virtual FRIENDS project campaign where they were encouraged to enjoy culture, learn exciting opportunities, and more.
