CTU Naga received approval for the 2022 GAA-funded community extension project dubbed, “Dagitabnu’ng Ka-uswagan sa Syudad sa Naga:” bread and pastry skills training program.
The proposed project will last for eight months and will be carried out in collaboration with the City of Naga LGU and the TESDA.
The BTLED and BSEd Math are two of the implementing Curricular Programs.
The program’s selected recipients are from Brgy. Tangke, City of Naga, Cebu residents and students aged 18 to 60 who were laid off due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Out-of-school youth, high school students, ALS HS graduate students, Senior High level or graduates, college level, and college graduates are among the recipients.
Prof. Aldrin C. Dela Cerna, Prof. Hyres Rica F. Dela Cruz, and Prof. Sheila Marie C. Lopez, all of the CTU-Naga Extension Campus, are the project’s proponents.
It is envisioned that this program will be another long-term endeavor that will empower Naga residents.-Rumuela L. Wong/Naga/CCM
