On June 9, 2022, World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) held their yearly WURI Ranking conference to award and recognize universities that excelled in aspects pertaining to Industrial Applications, Value-Creating, Social Responsibility, and Ethics, Integrity, and Student Mobility and Openness.
WURI is a global ranking that measures all of the universities in the world for their performance and ability to ignite fundamental values in society. With that being said Cebu Technological University was ranked in two categories for WURI 2022: Top 50 (35th Industrial Application and 48th Student Mobility and Openness). The Industrial application evolves around being able to innovate in ways of recording the research papers of the university while Student Mobility and Openness are the ability of the university to collaborate with other schools despite distance and national borders.
All in all, CTU stood its name as a premier university since being in the records of WURI is already a great feat for any university.
