Commissioner Jo Mark Libre, Chairperson of the CTU Board of Regents, successfully presided over the Special Board Meeting held on June 20, 2022, at the Sulu State College, Jolo, Sulu. In the said meeting, all proposals were unanimously supported by the governing board. Under fiscal matters, these are the programs/activities/ projects (PAPs) under GAA for FY 2022 tagged as ‘For Later Release’ ( FLRs), and the Award of Construction of Administration Building, Phase 1 at the CTU Argao Campus amounting to ₱14,971,357.26 to the BT Construction & General Services, received clearance to proceed. The GB emphasized that all procurement activities must strictly adhere to RA 9184 and its IRR as well as COA-DBM regulations.
On personnel matters, the GB appointed Atty. Marvey A. Ocampo as Vocational School Superintendent- SG 26 subject to all Civil Service rules and all applicable government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
Lastly, the authority to fill- up the ROSS items per DBM Circular No. 589 was likewise given the green light.
