VSMMC honors CTU Danao’s blood donation initiative

As an accolade of its corporate social responsibility, CTU Danao campus receives an award from Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) during the annual recognition and tribute to blood donation partners and voluntary blood donors dubbed as “Adlaw Pasalamat sa Dugong Halad” held at Summit Galleria Cebu, June 23, 2022.

A certificate of appreciation for CTU Danao’s invaluable participation and contribution in achieving quality blood supply and continued support to VSMMC’s blood donation drive; and a plaque bearing an Arcadio Maxilom Award for accumulating 150-250 units of blood in the year 2021 were proudly received by Prof. Delia G. Sabio, the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Director and Dr. Sarah Jane A. Colina, Community Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Chairman respectively.

Since 2014, the campus at all times keeps up in championing public service by conducting blood donation drives and sustaining the blood donation initiative in Region 7 through the dynamism of the NSTP Director, instructors, staff,  respective trainees, students, and stakeholders.

Amidst the pandemic, and the prohibition of face-to-face classes, the NSTP office managed to invite donors to create a feasible move in support of the VSMMC blood drive program. Donors are trainees of the Bureau of Fire Protection which happens to be undergoing training on the campus.
