EVSU visits CTU for Global Benchmarking

To establish international linkages and learn more about procurement, the leading state university in technological and professional education, Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU), visited Cebu Technological University (CTU) to conduct benchmarking on October 13, 2022, Thursday, at the Centennial Building of CTU-Main Campus.

The immersive networking was attended by the EVSU key officials spearheaded by Dr. Dennis C. de Paz, the University President, and the CTU team led by Dr. Jerry Letrondo, Vice-President of Administration and Finance; and Dr. Hedeliza Pineda, VP of Academics and Affairs.

During the event, Dr. Rodora Magan, University Director for Internalization, discussed the CTU’s achievements and linkages globally. She emphasized how it became one of the top-performing universities in the world and maintained its high standard for producing good-quality students.

After the discussion, an open table was held where everyone had the freedom to raise their concerns or ask questions and inquiries.

Mr. Allan Marinas, Associate Professor II in CTU-MC, were the master of the ceremony throughout the event.

In the latter part, as a great way to show support and praise for a job well done, both state universities concluded the meeting by exchanging tokens and appreciation gifts.

EVSU continues to forge partnerships and benchmarking from different schools and agencies worldwide to collect more productive experiences. It inspires them to reflect on how best they can develop their institution in the future.
