The Cebu Technological University Student Affairs and Services in collaboration with the Dangerous Drugs Board webinar entitled “Harnessing Peer Support for Drug Abuse Prevention” In celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week 2022 on November 16, 2022, Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 PM through FB Live: CTU Main Medical Clinic FB Page.
The webinar is in line with the Republic Act. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. It is the policy of the State to safeguard the integrity of its territory and the well-being of its citizenry particularly the youth, from the harmful effects of dangerous drugs on their physical and mental well-being, and to defend the same against acts or omissions detrimental to their development and preservation.
The said event would not have been possible and achieved its purpose without the well-respected organizers and guests spearheaded by CTU Medical Clinic, host Mrs. Julie Banzon Gabutan, RN, and Dr. Gail Sangueres for Introduction of Speaker together with Ms. Liane Angelica M. Kalakas an Information Officer in Preventive Education, Training and Information Division Dangerous Drugs Board.
As Cebu Technological University supports our nation in protecting the youth against illicit drug use and its consequences to the individual and society.
