CTU’s Office of Gender and Development (GAD) holds an “Anti-Human Trafficking Forum.”

Cebu Technological University Office of the Gender and Development (GAD) holds an “Anti-Human Trafficking Forum” in collaboration with the office of the University Director for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and in partnership with the Rotary Club Cebu, held at Centennial Building, CTU-main campus on December 1, 2022.
The GAD office initiated the said event under Dr. Marlou Godinez, University Director of GAD.

It was attended by GAD coordinators across campuses, the Office of the Guidance, the Office of the Student Affairs Services, and selected students.

Moreover, the GAD office invited speakers composed of Atty. Joan Saniel Amit and Sister Claire Pedoche, RSW, to further discuss the topic.
The forum aims to Increase knowledge and awareness, Promote effective rights-based responses, build students’ and employees’ capacity, and foster partnerships for joint actions against human trafficking.

Lastly, the question and answer portion was conducted, which involved the audience and speakers’ interaction for further clarifications, which concluded the forum.
