In 2020, the Barili campus marked its pivotal bid for quality education in the various areas of agriculture. Now it takes pride as the Campus officials, and other dignitaries gathered together during the turnover ceremony of the College of Agriculture, Food Science, Business and Communication (CAFBC) new building that took place on December 29, 2022.
Joining the Barili campus officials, among the dignitaries who were present during the turnover ceremony were Engr. Alex Mayor, University Infrastructure Director, and Engr. Andot Pontencioso, XLA Construction President and Owner.
Engr. Mayor and Engr. Potencioso joined Dr. Romeo C. Lepiten, CTU Barili Campus Director, Dr. Clea Anne V. Corsiga, CAFBC Director, and other dignitaries during the unveiling of the building name, ceremonial ribbon cutting and symbolic key turnover.
The newly built 43-million, 3-storey edifice houses eight lecture rooms equipped with a smart TV which will benefit many students as the college’s population continues to grow. It also features four laboratory rooms, one of which is the sensory laboratory addressing the necessities for one of the college’s allied programs, the BS in Food Technology. Included also in the structure is the multimedia room that can host large lecture classes and seminars or training, which can accommodate 100 persons.
With the new CAFBC building, CTU Barili expects a much-improved service to its stakeholders.
