
The CTU’s College of Information and Communications and Technology (CCICT) collaborates with the Philippine National IT Standards (PhilNits) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held in the President’s Conference room last January 27, 2023.
Dr. Rosein Ancheta, University President, headed the MOA signing, along with Mira Nona Flores, Campus Director and Dr. Jose Maria Garcia II, CCICT Dean.
While the other party, composed of Ma. Corazon M. Akol, the PhilNits President; Engr. Karl Soriano, the Visayas-Mindanao head, and the Information Technology Promotions Agency (IPA) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) of Japan; Ms. Ryoko Toyoda and Mr. Shigeru Tsuchiya.
The main objective of the partnership is to help CTU’s IT students get the IT Professional Certificate from Philnits, which will help them land opportunities in Japan in the future.
Moreover, the PhilNits will also assist students in reviewing materials, how to answer the examination and during the day of the examination.
