CTU Danao Champs NCEC in Java Programming

Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus is now on top in line of Computer Engineering as Marc Vincent L. Bentoy won as the Champion in the National Computer Engineering Challenge in Java Programming Category held on January 20, 2023, Friday, at Fort Ilocandia, Laoag City, Ilocos.

Bentoy, a 3rd year computer engineering student of CTU-Danao, defeated the 9 other regions with a perfect score of 90/90, finishing ahead of time and leaving behind the other contenders of the very challenging contest.

He represented the ICpEP(Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines) Region-7 in this tilt as he won the 1st place in the regional level last December 11, 2022.

The whole CTU-Danao family, headed by the visionary leader and Campus Director, Dr. Rose Mary L. Almacen, as well as the College of Engineering with the Dean, Engr. Jayson G. Bayogo and with the Computer Engineering Chairman, Engr. Chona R. Dagatan, is very much proud for Bentoy’s achievement and success as it brings so much honor not only to the institution but also to his own hometown and his own family.
