CebuTech serves up Work-Life Wellness with ‘Sem-Break Tennis Tournament’

In a proactive move towards fostering a healthy and alert workforce, the Cebu Technological University Main Campus Tennis Club has announced the commencement of the “Sem-Break Tennis Tournament,” on January 18, 2024, at the campus tennis court.

Aligned with the vision of promoting a physically and mentally fit workforce, this initiative adheres to the guidelines outlined in the Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 38, s. 1992. This circular emphasizes the importance of a “Physical and Mental Fitness Program for Government Personnel.” Furthermore, the university’s commitment to employee well-being is reiterated through compliance with CSC Memorandum Circular No. 6, s. 1995, which mandates all agencies to incorporate “The Great Filipino Workout” into the National Physical Fitness and Sports Development Program for government personnel.

Designed as a health awareness program, the “Sem-Break Tennis Tournament” has been strategically scheduled to take place after office hours. This ensures that the public service remains uninterrupted, allowing government personnel to actively participate in the tournament without compromising their professional responsibilities.

By organizing such events, the Cebu Technological University Main Campus Tennis Club not only cultivates a culture of physical fitness but also contributes to the overall health and well-being of its workforce.
