In a commitment to propel Cebu Technological University (CTU) to greater heights of success, the university’s Vice-Presidents and other esteemed officials recently convened in the Office of the University President Boardroom. This gathering, which took place on January 26, 2024, marked a pivotal moment as the collective leadership assembled for the Presentation and Critiquing of University Targets for the fiscal years 2024-2028.

The refinement and elevation of university targets align seamlessly with the benchmarks set forth in the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) leveling framework. Furthermore, this strategic enhancement is intricately calibrated to align with globally acknowledged university rankings, including, but not limited to, QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), THE (Times Higher Education), and WURI (World University Rankings by Academic Performance).
This concerted effort not only aims to meet and exceed national standards but also positions the university on the international stage, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in academic, research, and institutional performance. As the institution evolves in sync with these esteemed benchmarks, it solidifies its commitment to global competitiveness and sets a trajectory for sustained growth and recognition.
Finally, the collaborative effort to enhance the university’s goals was skillfully facilitated by Mr. Irvin A. Narsico, HRMO III, under the capable supervision of Dr. Jana Gloria F. Almerino, University SPMS Planning Officer/HRMO IV. / ICPA
