CTU-CAS and Barangay Inayawan Driving Community Progress

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Cebu Technological University – Main Campus has solidified a significant partnership with Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City, underscoring its commitment to community engagement. The official signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) took place on April 22, 2024, at the Quality Assurance Office, CTU-Main Campus.

Dedicated to fulfilling its role as a community-responsive premier institution, CAS initiated the MOA signing with Barangay Inayawan, headed by Atty. Kirk Bryan Jaca Repollo, the barangay captain, leading the counterpart delegation.

Representatives from CTU, including Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, University President, represented by Atty. Rodmarc P. Sanchez, Executive Assistant IV, Dr. Amelia Girly L. Aranas, OIC-Vice President for Research and Extension Development, Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, Campus Director, and Dr. Edwin Andaya, CAS Dean, joined the signing ceremony alongside project leaders and selected faculty members.

Prof. Anne S. Lorca, CAS Extension Chair, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Inayawan for their cooperation and support in facilitating CTU’s extension projects. She expressed hope for continued collaboration throughout the various phases of ongoing projects.
