CTU Special Education Student Take First Prize in the Intercollegiate Colloquium for Special Educators

On April 25, 2024, Special Education majors and Specail Education teachers convene for the Intercollegiate Colloquium for Special Educators at the Tandang Sora Hall in Cebu Normal University.

The event served as a platform for aspiring Special Educators to showcase their passion and commitment in catering to the diverse needs of learners, marking a triumph for inclusivity and education.  The theme of the intercollegiate colloquium was “Readiness of General Education to Inclusive Education”

In celebration of innovation, empathy, and dedication, the Intercollegiate Colloquium for Special Educators witnessed an outstanding champion emerged. A first year BSNEd student from Cebu Technological University, Mariane Therese C. Romeo, captivated the judges and the participants as she navigated the intricate nature of Special Education with practical applications and real world scenarios in her eloquent speech presentation. 

The Intercollegiate Colloquium for Special Educators was participated by public and private Teacher Education Institutions in Cebu like USJR, CNU, and CTU.  The gathering served as a testament to the transformative potential of education when coupled with empathy, innovation, and inclusivity that inspire generation of educators to break barriers for inclusive education.
