Cebu Technological University โ Main Campus successfully organized the Capacity Training on Enhanced Electronic New Government Accounting System. (eNGAS) and Electronic Budget (eBudget) System v.2.1 for National Government Agencies held at CN Building Hall A, B, and C on May 27-31, 2024.
Dr. Joseph Pepito, the University President, officially welcomed the participants as well as the lead speakers and the attending university officials. Jerlito A. Letrondo, the University Vice President for Administration and Finance, stated the statement of purpose at the opening of the training.
Spearheaded by Mr. Johannes M. Camasura, University Director for Automation, Innovation and Computing, the event is participated by the accounting personnel of the two major universities in Cebu, The Cebu Technological โ Main Campus and the Cebu Normal University.
The five-day training was also led by, the COA Division Chief and State Auditor V, Mr. Romeo C. Cruz, as he discussed the overview of the eNGAS and the eBudget, its basic features, configurations, data built-up, and its set-up. On the other hand, Ms. Jenica V. Edoria, State Auditor II, also graced the event as the assistant resource person and the main proctor on the hands-on exercises on eNGAS.
The capacity training introduced the integration of technology in the process of auditing and also aimed to shape technical and technologically-inclined individuals in the field of audit. CTU-Main Campus remains an open door to host events that promote societal progress and exemplify academic excellence and professional growth.
