CTU – Consolacion Campus marked another historical milestone as it celebrated its Founding anniversary today which also recognized the symbolic turnover and acknowledged the ground-breaking ceremony of its new Academic Building in a two-day event held respectively on May 24 and 25, 2024.
Prior to the celebration of the founding anniversary, CTU-Consolacion has taken steps in advance as they celebrated the turn-over on May 24 and acknowledged the ground-breaking ceremony on May 25.
Along with the attendance of the faculty, students, and the Campus Director, Dr. Romeo P., Montecillo, the two-day celebration was also highlighted by the presence of the Sangguniang Bayan Representatives of Consolacion, Hon. Daphne Lagon, the 6th District Congresswoman, together with her husband, AKO BISAYA Partylist Congressman, Hon. Sonny Lagon. The former 6th District Representative, who was the author of RA 11800 known as CTU Consolacion Campus, now Mandaue lone District Representative, Hon. Emmarie Ouano-Dizon, was also expected to attend but was represented by her nephew instead, Barangay Casili Councilor, Miko Mark Ouano. The mayor of Consolacion, Hon. Teresa “Nene” Alegado, also graced the event along with Vice-Mayor Rey Damole, former mayor Hon. Joannes “Joyjoy” Alegado, and the University President himself, Dr. Joseph Pepito. This unwavering support for institutional progress provides solid evidence of their dedication towards community development and advocacy towards the youth.
Today, the University remembers the challenges and the struggles it endured in the process of progress. The achievement contributes largely to the manifestation of the institution’s steadfast discipline in achieving the premier excellence that remains the mantra of CTU. Through this, CTU continues to move forward.
