On May 20-22, 2024, the Gender and Development (GAD) Directors from CTU Main and CTU Barili campuses converge for the Strategic Planning and Cascading of the 2024 GPB. Included in the three-day activity was the GAD Activity Proposal Making Capability Workshop.
Dr. Romeo C. Lepiten, the Campus Director of CTU-Barili, opened the program by welcoming the GAD-affiliated representatives as well as the speakers of the event. It was followed by the Statement of Purpose delivered by Engr. Teresita B. Capin, the GAD Director of CTU-Main Campus, who also presented the 2024 GAD Plan and Budget.
The College of Engineering GAD Coordinator, Dr. Maria Elena Aparente introduced all the participants, while Dr. Emma Sacan, the CAO and Finance officer led the GAD Forum for Year 2025 by presenting the process and stipulations in creating a budget proposal.
The three-day event encapsulated every necessary process to undergo for the Budget Proposal Making as well as the GAD Orientation and Overview. It also centralizes on the workshop for GAD PAPs (Programs, Activities, Projects) Capability Proposal Making, Formulation of GAD Annual Plan, and the Making of Annual Report.
The Gender and Development offices of both the CTU-Barili and Main Campus continue to aim for a better society for people who are marginalized by the societal norms. Through this activity, CTU’s promotion of a sustainable community thrives on, manifesting the very foundation of the University’s multidisciplinary character.
