The Cebu Technological University (CTU), Internationalization and ASEAN Integration (IAI) chairs, and Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) Chairs, commence ASEAN week with the theme: “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience,” today, August 21, 2024, at Centennial Building, 6th Floor Function Room A, CTU โ Main campus. Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, University President of CTU, talked about how to deal with the challenge and achieve the goal of internationalization. โAnd I am sure that all these things shall easily be attained with your sincere and truthful support of this program to the University,โ Dr. Pepito said during his inspirational message.
He also highlighted that CTU is now moving on to a higher level of internationalization. Dr. Felix Q. Pocong, Jr., University Director of IAI, in his welcome speech, emphasized that CTU offers students an interesting opportunity to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to support a more robust and resilient ASEAN.
ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations. This association encourages economic development, cultural exchange, peace and security, and cooperation on international issues.
