Cebu Technological University (CTU) Main Campus welcomed delegations from Surigao del Norte State University (SNSU) Del Carmen Campus for a benchmarking activity on August 1, 2024. Held at the Office of the University President conference room 5th floor Administration Building, the event aimed to foster professional development and facilitate an exchange of best practices between the two institutions.
The program began with opening remarks by the CTU-Main Campus Director, Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, followed by a warm welcome message from the Executive Assistant IV, Atty. Rodmarc P. Sanchez on behalf of the University President. The SNSU delegates were Admin Assistant Il, Alder II L. Omac, CPA, Shiela Mae E. Selliza, Payroll/ Planning Staff, Venissa N. Broqueza, Budgeting Assistant, Jonalyn G. Candilas, Budgeting Assistant, Mary Jane S. Hernani, Budgeting Staff, Glomar G. Racines, Marjun Portrias, JollyBert M. Geli, Gary Pascual, Elisio Tiu, Melvin Andamon, Segundino Mahinay Jr., Glen Paronia, Vendievel Cubillan, Heinie Mordeno, and Blas Vicio, Jr., engaged with CTU staff, gaining valuable insights to enhance their operations.
The delegation was given an insightful tour of the university’s facilities, including the CTU-Main Library and the Mechatronics Laboratory. The benchmarking activity concluded with positive expressions of commitment to future academic collaboration for both universities.
