𝗖𝗧𝗨 𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗧𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

Cebu Technological University (CTU) and representatives from Tejero National High School (TNHS) and Tejero Barangay Council, Cebu City, signed an agreement to strengthen the teaching capabilities of English teachers from TNHS through the CTU’s extension project ATO NI! (Assisting Teachers On Their Needs in Instruction). The signing was held today, September 27, 2024, at the University President’s office, CTU-Main campus.

Present during the signing were CTU’s University President, Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, and Tejero Barangay Council Officials namely, Hon. Harold S. Seno, Brgy. Captain, and representatives from Tejero National High School: Mr. Gilbert T. Tito, School Principal; Ms. Barbie Jane S. Rosales, School English Coordinator; Mr. Jerry D. Canoy, Assistant Principal Night Coordinator; and Mr. Stahrl Weldon A. Roz, PTA President. As for the CTU’s College of Education (COEd) faculty, Dr. Cristie Ann L. Jaca (Project Leader), Dr. Alma C. Valendez, Dr. Mary Jane C. Sim, Dr. Juliet T. Mandado, Dr. Esperanza M. Del Fierro, and Dr. Margie D. Fulgencio, were also present in this event.

This agreement aims to build a solid collaboration between CTU and TNHS in implementing extension projects and teacher training programs that would profoundly foster community development. During the interactive discussion, Tejero Brgy. Captain Hon. Seno also requested that the training be extended to his barangay personnel, especially in business correspondence.
