Cebu Technological University (CTU) formally engaged in a partnership with the Red River College Polytech from Manitoba, Canada, through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing held at the Centennial Bldg., 6th Floor Function Room, CTU-Main, today, September 30, 2024.

โ€œToday, signing of MOU signifies more than just a formal agreement;
it represents our shared commitment to pursuing future leaders, advancing our academic excellence, and addressing global challenges through education and research,โ€ said Dr. Felix Q. Pocong, Jr., University Director for Internationalization and ASEAN Integration, during his welcome message. University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito notably emphasized that MOU is a mutual commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and fostering a dynamic exchange of knowledge, culture, and expertise between institutions.

Mr. Fred Meier, University President of the Red River College Polytech, delivered his speech and highlighted that the MOU between CTU and RRC Polytech is an opportunity to magnify the impact of both institutions together, and establish transformative exchange programs for students, competitive areas for mechatronics, ICT, groundbreaking research, cultural understanding, joint programs, foster dynamic learning community, uphold the sustainable development goals set forth by the United Nations, and other relevant matters that could drive positive changes for both institutions. Dr. Jeannie Webber and Mr. Bryan Meng from RRC Polytech, have delivered noteworthy messages. As for Dr. Charena J. Castro, IAI Chairperson-Main, gave her profound closing remark. The signing ceremony ended with a photo op with all the visitors and CTU representatives.
