The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the Department of Psychology and Social Sciences (DPSS) led the graduation ceremony of the women beneficiaries from Barangay Ermita. This signifies the culmination of Phase 1 of their project entitled, โ€œKAPEHAN SA KABABAYEN-AN: Bridging the MENOPAUSE Knowledge Gap, A Sustainable Community Extension Initiative.โ€

Part of this major event held at the Centennial Building, CTU-Main, are CTU key officials, namely University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito; Campus Director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon; Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Vice President for Extension Services Generation; Dr. Edwin C. Andaya, Dean CAS; and Dr. Simeon C. Bernados, Extension Chair, CAS.

Project Leader Dr. Reah G. Fabrica showed the video presentation of their project Kapehan Timeline and Dr. Vanessa Beck, Capability Building Trainer/Resource Person from the University of Bristol, delivered a message through a video. All the project partners held the awarding of Certificate of Completion, the induction of officers of the โ€œKapehan sa Kababayenhan,โ€ and giving out of Token of Appreciation to the following individuals: Hon. Mark Rizaldy Miral, Ermita Brgy. Captain; Mr. Marivic Abellana; Ms. Viola Batobalonos; and representatives from beneficiaries.

During the closing remarks, Ms. Charmaine Lee M. Cabrera, OIC-University Extension Services Office, delivered the closing remarks on behalf of Dr. Ancheta. This convention aims to celebrate the progress and achievement of the women who have completed this project phase.
