Cebu Technological University’s Office of the Vice President for Research and Development, in collaboration with Kalambuan sa Lambuang Nasud Inc., National Research Council of the Philippines – Visayas Cluster, and Philippine Association of Research Managers 7, hosted a face-to-face seminar workshop on October 28-30, 2024. Themed “Sustaining Research Capabilities for the Future Initiatives: Scientific Publication Writing Seminar Workshop,” this initiative brought together the 4th batch of participants from Arts, Sciences, and Education at the CTU-Main campus’s Learning Commons, Science and Technology Building.
The resource speakers and mentors for this endeavor were Dr. Ryan Michael F. Oducado, Director for University Research and Development, from West Visayas State University; Dr. Rolly G. Fuentes, a professor from the University of the Philippines-Tacloban College; Dr. Adrian P. Ybaรฑez, Vice President for Research and Development, CTU; and Dr. Landon A. Ocampo, Director for Applied Mathematics and Operations Research (CAMOR), CTU, among others.
This seminar workshop provided researchers with the knowledge, skills, and best approaches to enrich their research capabilities, scientific writing, and publication success, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to their fields and support future research initiatives.
