The Cebu Technological University (CTU) formally starts its three-day ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) recertification audit today, November 6, 2024, at the Centennial Building, CTU-Main campus.
Ms. Michelle Pestaรฑas, TUV Rheinland Audit Leader, presented the audit mechanics and proceedings and led the audit team, comprising Ms. Kharen Tan-Concepcion, Ms. Jogina Mendiola, Ms. Lynn Gerzon, Ms. Cecilia Ignacio, and Ms. Maribeth Lucanas. The audit team’s ISO 9001:2015 QMS Recertification Audit scope includes CTU-Main, CTU-Danao, CTU-San Francisco, and CTU-Barili campuses.
On behalf of the University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, JD Jerlito A. Letrondo, VP for Administration and Finance, delivered the statement of purpose and inspirational message. CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon gave a warm welcome to the auditors, guests, and other participants. Among the attendees were Dr. Rosein A. Ancheta Jr., Vice President for Production, Extension, and Resource Generation; Dr. Rosemary L. Almacen, VP for Student Affairs; Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Imelda J. Villarin, Campus Dean of Instruction; Ms. Bernadette F. Mante, University Quality Management representative; Atty. Rodmarc P. Sanchez, Executive Assistant IV, Office of the University President; and Dr. Amelda B. Aranas, OIC Chief Administrative Officer for Administration.
This audit seeks to ensure management system implementation and compliance with the requirements, identify opportunities for enhancement, and confirm the issuance or awarding of the certificate. The audit findings and concluding statement will be presented on November 8, 2024, the final day of the audit.
