Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) visited Cebu Technological University (CTU) for a benchmarking session, particularly on CTU’s College of Computer and Information Communications Technology (CCICT) today, November 26, 2024, at the Conference Hall of the Centennial Building, CTU-Main.
Representing CTU-Main were Dr. Ramel Genobiagon, Campus Director; Dr. Marie Joy B. Alit, OIC Dean of CCICT; Dr. Bell S. Campanilla, OIC IT Chairperson; Dr. Emelie C. Villaceran, OIC IS Chairperson; along with CCICT faculty and staff.
Delegates from ISAT-U include Dr. Remia S. Entusiasmo and Dr. Lilane N. Cubita from the Quality Assurance Team (QA); Mr. Helmar C. EA, Extension Director; Mr. Dyck Andre S. Robles, Research Coordinator; and students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) programs.
The ISAT-U team explored the state-of-the-art ICT laboratory, which was donated by Innodata. They observed advanced facilities and resources that enhance IT education and also visited the CTU-Main campus library, where they were introduced to digital learning tools and innovative spaces designed to foster research and development.
