On December 6, 2024, Cebu Technological University’s Main and Carmen campuses successfully completed online accreditation surveys led by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc.

Programs that were evaluated by the AACCUP for the preliminary, 1st, and 2nd survey visits are Master of Fisheries and Allied Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Technology Management, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Science, BS in Computer Engineering, Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education with majors in Industrial Arts, Home Economics, and Information and Community Technology, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor of Special Needs Education with majors in Generalist and Teaching Deaf and Hard Hearing Learners.

During the closing program, Dr. Isidro L. Duran, Coordinator, thoroughly exemplified the synthesis of evaluation results. Among the attendees were Dr. Junjun A. Obiso, OIC-Dean, COE-CTU-Main; Dr. Noel D. Roble, Administrator of the CTU-Sogod extension campus and Dean for Graduate Studies; Dr. Raymond C. Espina, Dean, COEd-CTU-Main, and Dr. Catalino Jimmy B. Pescadero, Dean, COT-CTU-Main.

The awarding of certificates was led by Dr. Meralei J. Lawas, University Director for Quality Assurance. The five-day activity concluded with photo documentation.
