The College of Education of Cebu Technological UniversityโMain Campus, obtained a 100% Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its undergraduate teacher education programs. This notable achievement assures that COEd students have continued access to free Higher Education benefits.
The COEd’s undergraduate programs comprise Bachelor of Early Childhood Education; Bachelor of Secondary Education with majors in English, Filipino, and Social Studies; Bachelor of Special Needs Education (Generalist), and with a Specialization in Teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing Learners; Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education with majors in Home Economics, Industrial Arts, and Information and Communication Technology; and Bachelor of Technical Vocational Education with majors in Civil and Construction Technology, and Welding and Fabrication Technology.
Attendees are CTU key officials, namely University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito; Dr. Reylan G. Capuno, VP for Academic Affairs; CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon; and Dr. Bernard Sena Pantonilla, CHED RQAT 7, among others.
The said undertaking held an awarding ceremony for CHED’s COPC. The COPC affirms a higher education program’s compliance with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) quality standards and requirements.
