Two Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) research presenters, Katherine Lawas and Paul Vincent Pesquera, represented CTU San Francisco and showcased their research outputs at the 1st International Undergraduate Education Research Conference and Innovation Summit, held at Leyte Normal University on December 3, 2024.
The conference was part of the Education Week Celebration exhibiting the theme “One World, Many Voices: Celebrating Diversity and Building Unity through Peace Education.”
Lawas presented her study, “Assessing Reading Comprehension Difficulties of Grade 5 Students Using the Reader-Response Approach: A Study at Himensulan Elementary School.” At the same time, Pesquera delivered his research on “The Teacherโs Approaches in Teaching Literature.”
During Parallel Session 9 in the Elementary Education category, Pesquera achieved First Place as Best Presenter, while Lawas secured Second Place, fortifying their outstanding contributions to the field of education.
