In partnership with Cebu Technological University (CTU), the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS), marked the culmination activity of its Cash-for-Work (CFW) program for CTU college graduates held on December 13, 2024, at the CebuTech Gymnatorium, CTU-Main campus.

Present in this activity were OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance and CTU-Main campus director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon; Dr. Nona Fe Y. Estolas, university director for Career Center/Peso Manager; Ms. Helen C. Ybaรฑez, OIC-DPRM, KALAHI-CIDSS Program, DSWD FO VII; and Mr. Juanito C. Cantero, Assistant Regional Director for Operation, among others.

The program featured testimonials from CFW beneficiaries, CFW program accomplishments, messages of support-especially from Dr. Rosemary L. Almacen, VP for Student Affairs; CFW LGU/SUC testimonial videos, and awarding of certificates.

The Cash-for-Work Program of DSWD provides beneficiaries with short-term financial assistance, preparing them for real work life and financially supporting them during the transition period.
