The two universities’ benchmarking activity centered on hospitality and tourism management, internationalization, research, student internship abroad program, student publication, admission and retention policies, graduate school matters, extension programs, faculty immersion endorsements, and facilities and laboratories, among other things.

USM delegates are faculty from the Department of Hospitality Management, namely Ms. Shirl Mae M. Bebit, Dr. Melchie G. Palapar, Dr. Apple R. Ureta, and Dr. Cheryl Y. Dulay. Among the CTU key officials present are Dr. Amelia Girly Aranas, OIC Chief Administrative Officer for Administration, and CTU-Main campus director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon.

This benchmarking initiative will allow two institutions to obtain valuable insights, spot areas for improvement, produce smart approaches, and optimize overall performance.
