To enrich student learning and broaden IT perspectives, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University (CHMSU) – Binalbagan Campus, Negros Occidental, visited Cebu Technological University (CTU) for benchmarking initiatives today.

CTU and CHMSU engaged in strategic discussions, centering on collaborative opportunities, academic enrichment, and the latest trends and practices in Information Technology education.

CTU’s OIC-Vice President for Administration and Finance and CTU-Main campus director Dr. Ramel C. Genobiagon, Dr. Jose Maria S. Garcia, Dean of the College of Computer, Information, and Communication Technology (CCICT), among others, attended.

There were 140 IT students, and several faculty members under the College of Computer Studies-Bachelor of Science Major in Information Technology, namely Ms. Jennifer Juaneza, PhDTM; Ms. Siari Ann R. Iligan, MSIT; Mr. Romeo Tanate Jr., MIT; Ms. Gerle Mae Alabado, MIT; and Ms. Gailey Rey April Guzon, PhDTM.

The CHMSU delegates toured CTU’s cutting-edge library, facilities, and technologies. This collaborative connection between the two institutions will boost notable advancements and innovation in IT education.
