๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ โ Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Subang – Cebu Technological University (Subang-CTU) successfully harvested another batch of fresh produce from the ๐๐ข๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฎ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต on January 29, 2025. This marks another step in the initiativeโs ongoing efforts to promote food sustainability and student welfare.
The latest harvest included tomatoes, okra, and chilis, grown by first-year BS Agribusiness and BS Agriculture students under the guidance of Subang Adviser Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual. The project continues to provide hands-on learning experiences for students while addressing food security within the CTU-Barili campus.
Following the harvest, the produce was distributed to selected CTU-Barili students, reinforcing the projectโs goal of supporting the university community. Through the ๐๐ข๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฎ ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ค๐ต, Subang-CTU remains committed to fostering sustainability and self-sufficiency, in line with Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 (Zero Hunger).
The projectโs success highlights the strong collaboration between Cebu Technological University and Subang-CTU, as they work together to create lasting solutions for food production and community empowerment.
