๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐ โ February 15, 2025 โ Subang – Cebu Technological University (CTU) successfully concluded a Bamboo Propagation Session and Adopt a Hectare Project (AHP) site maintenance at CTU-Barili Campus, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability.
CWTS trainees actively participated in propagating black bamboos, contributing to sustainable reforestation efforts. Meanwhile, during the AHP site maintenance, volunteers cleaned and maintained areas planted with Kamagong (๐๐ช๐ฐ๐ด๐ฑ๐บ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ด ๐ฃ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ฐ๐ช), ensuring the healthy growth of this critically endangered native species.
This initiative was spearheaded by Subang Executive President Peter John C. Enorio, alongside Subang – CTU Science and Technology Vice-President Shaina Faith D. Visorro, Subang – CTU Education Vice-President Cedrick B. Parojinog, and CWTS staff Dave M. Baran and Jan Emmanuel Lausa. Also present was CTU – Barili SSG Senator Xyrah P. Cuizon, who supported the advocacy for environmental conservation.
Subang – CTU continues to drive ecological sustainability through hands-on activities, engaging students in meaningful environmental stewardship.
