Key officials and personnel of the Cebu Technological University-Main Campus displayed their vibrant, rich, and traditional ASEAN-inspired attires during the flag raising ceremony today, February 3.
This is under the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 16, S. 2024, or the “Revised Dress Code for Government Officials and Employees,” wherein all government personnel must wear attire or clothing inspired by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on the first Monday of the month and Filipiniana-inspired on the remaining Mondays. The revised dress code aims to โ boost employee morale, professionalism, and productivity,โ in public workplaces.
By wearing ASEAN-inspired outfits, CTU promotes inclusivity, cultural awareness, and solidarity among ASEAN countries. Further, the university proudly showcases its commitment to honoring cultural heritage, upholding core values, and fostering a professional work environment.
