The ๐˜—๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฎ ๐˜—๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ซ๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ต of Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Subang – Cebu Technological University (Subang-CTU) marked another successful harvest on February 10, 2025. Fresh produce, including tomatoes, okra, and chilis, was gathered and distributed to students of CTU-Barili and local community members, reinforcing the projectโ€™s commitment to food security and sustainability.

The harvesting session was facilitated by Subang-CTU volunteers Andrewkyle E. Oroc, Ron Janbert P. Ofquila, Ciara Mari M. Brigoli, and Mary Danielle T. Descallar. They were joined by Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students Johanna Beatriz T. Adlawan, Julia Mae M. Amparo, Diane P. Artiaga, Iyz Phoebemae C. Del Socorro, and Christine Karyl D. Momongan. Their collective efforts showcase the strong spirit of volunteerism and community engagement within Subang-CTU and the wider CTU community.

The ๐˜—๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ฎ ๐˜๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ฎ ๐˜—๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ซ๐˜ฆ๐˜ค๐˜ต, led by CTU and Subang-CTUโ€™s Agriculture and Food Systems Department, continues to provide hands-on agricultural experience for students while addressing the pressing need for accessible fresh produce. This initiative is aligned with Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 (Zero Hunger) and contributes to CTUโ€™s pursuit of higher placement in the WURI and THE Impact Rankings.

As the project progresses, CTU and Subang-CTU remain dedicated to fostering sustainable agricultural practices and strengthening their support for both the academic and local communities.
