To boost its research and innovation capabilities, faculty members from the Camarines Sur Polytechnic conducted a ‘bench learning’ visit at Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Main Campus on March 13, 2025.

The delegates from the Center for Research in Integrative Social and Special Sciences and Policy (CRIS3P) exchanged ideas and strategic practices in research, social science, disaster management, innovation, sustainability, and policy development.

The key topics emphasized during the discussion were the best practices for establishing impactful research initiatives and processes, ensuring appropriate funds for operations and resources, and reinforcing the university’s innovation and technology generation and utilization.

The CRIS3P delegates from Nabua, Camarines Sur, led by Mr. Ejay F. Barcinilla, engaged in meaningful discussions with CTU representatives, including vice president for Research and Development Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, director for University Research Ethics Committee Dr. Anesito L. Cutillas, university director for Information, Communication, and Public Affairs Dr. Cristie Ann L. Jaca, and DELS faculty members Dr. Christian Ray C. Licen and Dr. Mary Jane C. Sim, UD for GAD.

Meanwhile, four faculty members from the Rinconda Center for Environmental Sustainability (RiCES), led by Ms. Ma. Ludilyn B. Agapito, had their ‘benchlearning’ visit to the CTU-Argao Campus, conducting knowledge-sharing in environmental science, research, and innovation.
