In fulfillment of its commitment to supporting Cebu Technological University (CTU) personnel, the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) conducted a two-day ‘GSIS Reconciliation workshop’ from March 6 to 7, 2025, at the Conference Hall, Centennial Building, CTU-Main.
The GSIS initiative, which aims to “facilitate accurate GSIS benefit computations for CTU personnel,” gathered all university accountants, Agency Authorized Officers (AAO), Electronic Remittance File (ERF) handlers, HRMO Officers, and other personnel directly involved in GSIS records updating and remittances.
GSIS Cebu Branch Manager Glorietta B. Dublas stressed that this reconciliation will allow them to improve the agency’s processes, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency in serving CTU personnel.
During today’s closing program, CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito underscored the university’s commitment to meet GSIS requirements and ensure that all employees receive their rightful benefits.
Moreover, this GSIS initiative sought to achieve 100% reconciliation of total GSIS premium deficiencies affecting CTU personnel, submit consolidated reports on reconciled premium deficiencies, discuss the funding requirements to address deficiencies, and update on the reduction of unpaid premiums for CTU campuses.
The two-day GSIS reconciliation workshop equipped CTU employees with a more profound understanding of their premium benefits and related entitlements, among others.
