Two Cebu Technological University (CTU) AACCUP accreditors Dr. Ronald M. Ramirez, dean of the College of Business and Management at CTU-San Francisco, and Dr. Cecilia Elena P. De Los Reyes, former dean of College of Education at CTU-Main Campus, remarkably received The Manuel T. Corpus Outstanding Accreditor Award.
The recognition took place during the 38th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Annual National Conference and General Assembly, at Marikina Polytechnic College in Marikina City from March 5-7, 2025.
Dr. Ramirez was honored in the Active in Service category, while Dr. De Los Reyes received recognition in the Retiree category. They were awarded before notable figures from AACCUP, Inc., namely Founding President and former Executive Director Dr. Manuel T. Corpus, President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, and Executive Director Dr. Milabel E. Ho.
CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito and University Director for Quality Assurance Dr. Meralei J. Lawas were also present during the awarding ceremony.
The award honors the AACCUP founder, Dr. Corpus. This milestone earned by the two CTU awardees has greatly contributed to the university’s pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance, thereby elevating its reputation and boosting global advancement in accreditation and higher education.
