In pursuit of quality education, Cebu Technological University (CTU)’s Argao and Main campuses officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) withย Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. Microfinanceย (RAFI MFI) for its BUGSAY Scholarship Program.
The BUGSAY scholarship is an initiative of RAFI MFI designed to provide financial support for deserving underprivileged college students of CTU-Argao and CTU-Main who are children of indigent households of RAFI MFI clients, all for the purpose of providing accessible tertiary education.
RAFI’s BUGSAY scholarship has five student recipients in 2024, and with its recent virtual MOA signing and financial support, it opened more doors for more opportunities to grantees this year.
Held on April 2, 2025, the MOA signing was participated by RAFI Microfinance’s Chief Operating Officer Jonar B. Dorado, CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, represented by the vice president for Student Affairs Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, and CTU-Argao campus director Dr. Eingilbert C. Benolirao. Also in attendance were the officers in charge of Student Affairs and Services (SAS) and the Scholarship Office from the Main and Argao campuses.
BUGSAY will continue its paddling, for more opportunities and a brighter future!
