Cebu Technological University-Argao Campus reaffirms its position as a premier Teacher Education Institution in the country, setting a model for others to follow.
With this recognition, CTU-Argao continues its pursuit of excellence as the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) honors the institution for consistently upholding the highest standards in its Teacher Education Program as being the top Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) at the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards, held on April 2, 2025, at a hotel in Manila.
This award affirms CTU-Argaoโs commitment to excellence and highlights its adherence to CHEDโs stringent quality standards, program accreditation, and outstanding performance in the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).
During the awarding, University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito received the prestigious distinction, alongside twelve other esteemed TEIs. CTU-Argao Campus DOI Dr. Fitzgerald Kintanar and COED chair Dr. Suzette T. Elladora were also in attendance.
Out of 1,553 TEIs nationwide, CTU-Argao stood among the 120 institutions recognized for producing highly competent educators. This achievement underscores the universityโs dedication to academic excellence, innovative teaching strategies, and rigorous quality assurance measures in preparing future educators.
