Cebu Technological University (CTU) and Auburn University strengthened ties through a collaborative meeting on student exchange programs, particularly for CTU’s agricultural students, held on April 25, 2025, at the Learning Commons, Science and Technology Building, CTU-Main.

Mr. William D. Batchelor, a Professor in Biosystems Engineering at Auburn University, USA, outlined plans for agricultural lectures, traditional farming experiences, and cultural immersion opportunities, among others, for exchange students. He also explored research collaborations, opportunities, and initiatives with CTU faculty.

Vice President for Research and Development Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, university director for Internationalization and ASEAN Integration Ms. Jennifer Baylon Verances, CTU-Barili Campus Director Dr. Romeo C. Lepiten, Dr. Maria Lima D. Pascual, and faculty from CTU-Barili Campus, among others, were present during the meeting.

Through this endeavor, the university reinforces its commitment to global relevance by strengthening internationalization initiatives, especially in student exchange programs.
