Faculty and researchers from across CTU satellite and extension campuses gathered at the international seminar workshop on ‘Data Playbook: Creative Strategies to Maximize Research,” facilitated by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Development (OVPRD) on April 23 to 25, 2025, at the Function Hall, Centennial Building, CTU-Main.

The three-day activity, led by the VPRD Dr. Pet Roey L. Pascual, and resource speaker Dr. Audie L. Cherry of Clemson University, provided comprehensive discussions on data playbook, a guide that serves as a roadmap for maximizing research impact through innovative, creative data-driven methods, standardizing processes, streamlining research operations, and fostering collaboration.

Key topics included RD GAA proposal forms, GAD training, journal components, theoretical and conceptual framework, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, installing Qualtrics and JMP, presentation of outputs, and final coaching, among other things.

CTU’s pioneering faculty researchers, technologists, and entrepreneurs from various campuses also met with the team from Leave a Nest Philippines, Inc., who facilitated a ‘TECH PLANTER Visayas Information Session.’

TECH PLANTER is a platform bridging technology innovations with societal needs via startups and technology transfer.
