Chairs of the Information, Communication, and Public Affairs (ICPA) and Management Information System (MIS) of CTU completed the workshop on managing and maintaining the university’s website, held from April 22 to 25, 2025.

Participants gained hands-on expertise in CTU website content management, creating and managing pages and posts, SEO optimization, content backup and restoration, user roles management and editorial workflows, data protection laws and regulations, troubleshooting, security, and analytics, among others.

Through hands-on learning and expert guidance from Professor Johannes M. Camasura, UD for Automation, Innovation, and Computing, who was assisted by computer programmer Mr. Klint Edward Rosario, ICPA and MIS chairs effectively applied and presented their newfound skills, creating dedicated pages and posting content for their respective campuses.

Moreover, Prof. Camasura and Mr. Rosario were given certificates for sharing their expertise as resource speakers in the website management workshop. The certificates were conferred by UD for ICPA Dr. Cristie Ann L. Jaca on behalf of CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito.

Facilitated by the CTU-Main’s ICPA Office, this workshop aligns with the Office’s “Finalization and Presentation of ICPA Operations Manual” program which began on April 21, preceding the four-day website management and maintenance workshop.

Throughout the five-day gathering, ICPA and MIS chairs from across CTU campuses efficiently developed a refined, unified ICPA Operations Manual, which serves as a guide for managing the university’s communication processes, as well as for content writing, posting, and publication of CTU’s branding, initiatives, and accomplishments. Primarily, they have acquired expertise in website management, elevating CTU’s institutional excellence on national and international fronts.
