The College of Technology of Cebu Technological University (CTU)-Main successfully concluded its Strategic Planning 2025, a three-day event held from May 28 to 30, 2025, at a hotel in Cebu City. The event brought together University leaders and key stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions and collaborative planning sessions aimed at shaping the Collegeโs strategic direction for the upcoming Academic Year 2025 – 2026.
Dr. Janice A. Alivio, Dean of the College of Technology, formally opened the event with a welcome message. She was joined by prominent University officials, including University President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito, Vice-President for Student Affairs Dr. Romeo P. Montecillo, and CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., who each offered inspirational messages of support and insights.
The first day focused on essential institutional topics, including Procurement Planning, led by Engr. Antonieto Pacayra and the University Strategic Plan presented by Dr. Jana Gloria F. Almerino. These sessions were followed by a workshop designed to engage participants in hands-on planning activities, culminating in a networking dinner.
On the second day, the program opened with the Budget Forum for FY 2026, facilitated by Emma R. Sacan, MPA, the Universityโs Finance Management Officer. This was followed by a session titled Ensuring Integrity: Proper Acknowledgment and Accountability of University Equipment, presented by Ms. Jennifer V. Enriquez. Both sessions emphasized the importance of transparency and responsibility in resource management across the University.
The final day featured the submission and presentation of outputs from the various planning workshops, which were later highlighted during the eventโs closing program.
Overall, COT Strategic Planning 2025 proved to be a successful and engaging initiative that reaffirmed the collegeโs commitment to academic excellence, institutional integrity, and forward-thinking leadership.
