In a bid to optimize management system effectiveness, Cebu Technological University (CTU)โs administrative officials, college deans, faculty, and non-teaching staff gathered for a โCampus Management Review 2025′ meeting on May 15 to 16, 2025, at a resort in Cordova, Cebu.
Led by CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr., the first day of meeting centered on the changes in the quality management system, customer satisfaction/feedback from interested parties, quarterly physical report of operations (QPRO), status of COPC and AACCUP Accreditations, performance and evaluation of supplies, status of infrastructure projects, and 2024 internal and external quality audit results, among others.
Further, a seminar on risk and opportunities management, and the management review committee (MRC) forms, was headed by Dr. Donna Marie Rivero, Internal Quality Auditor, Team Leader. It equipped participants with knowledge on the systematic application of policies, procedures, and practices in identifying, assessing, addressing, and monitoring risks.
Meanwhile, the second day focused on the presentation of risk and opportunity, annual plan, and short-medium plan, led by the college deans and office heads. IQA team leaders and selected campus officials provided comments, feedback, and enhancements.
In the afternoon, CTU-Argao Campus Director Dr. Engilbert C. Benolirao delivered his presentation on โHarnessing Generative AI Tools for Productivity and Research,โ stressing the role of AI in enriching academic work and empowering educators for improved teaching and learning outcomes.
During the closing program, certificates were conferred by Dr. Pajaron to resource speakers Dr. Reviro and Dr. Benolirao for their meaningful contributions in the two-day meeting.
The two-day meeting and workshop enabled participants to optimize university operations, enhance management systems, integrate AI in academic practice, and improve the overall quality and efficiency of the institution.
