𝗖𝗧𝗨 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗘𝗢𝗗𝗕 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵

Key officials, faculty, and staff of Cebu Technological University (CTU) united for the launch of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month celebration, marked by a flag-raising ceremony today at the CTU-Main Campus.

The significance of the event, themed “Red Tape to Red Carpet: Better Business Movement in a Bagong Pilipinas,” was outlined by CTU-Main Campus Director Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr. He stressed that EODB has “played a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of public service delivery by streamlining administrative procedures, enhancing transparency, and reducing bureaucratic red tape.”

By Proclamation No. 818, May is Ease of Doing Business Month, a nationwide observance highlighting regulatory reforms, digital transformation across public sectors, and innovative approaches in public service delivery. This endeavor also urges non-government organizations (NGOs) and private sectors to join the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in implementing all EODB activities.

Awarding of CNA Registration Certificate to CTU

As part of today’s program, CTU received its renewed Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) Registration Certificate, valid for three years, conferred by Mr. Ricardo I. Gabule Jr., Senior Human Resources Specialist of the Civil Service Commission-Cebu North.

In his speech, Mr. Gabule emphasized the CSC’s commendation of CTU’s dedication to a progressive work environment, stating, “May this serve as a foundation for continued dialogues, shared growth, and sustained excellence in public service.”

Faculty Regent Dr. Denilin Batulan of Cebu Technology University-System Faculty Association (CTUSFA) said that the renewed agreement is a testament to the “value of partnership, mutual respect, and our common pursuit of academic excellence and faculty welfare.”

Meanwhile, CTU President Dr. Joseph C. Pepito expressed his gratitude and commitment as the University President to “supporting every endeavor that cultivates a healthier and a more productive working environment in this university.”

Dr. Pepito also lauded the vibrant, rich array of ASEAN attire worn by employees, underscoring the shared values, interconnectedness, and diverse, inclusive work environment across the CTU community.
